Welcome
Join me as I trudge the pink path of life, love, personal growth, and all thing whimsical. I’m launching this space because for many years, I thought sobriety was enough. I stayed clean, worked the steps, showed up for my recovery. But when my husband’s affair blew up our marriage, I realized: AA never taught me how to have an intimate relationship.
I had to learn how to rebuild trust, calm my hypervigilance, set boundaries without building walls, and decide whether to stay or go - all while protecting my sobriety.
I wrote a book about it (” After Betrayal: Should I Stay or Should I Go?”), but a book is just one conversation. This blog is where we keep talking. Where I share what I’m learning. Where you don’t have to figure this out alone.
If you’re in recovery and your relationship is falling apart, you’re welcome here.
If you just discovered betrayal and don’t know which way is up, you’re welcome here.
If you’re trying to rebuild something that feels irreparably broken, you’re welcome here.
I’m not here to tell you what to do. I’m here to tell you the truth about what it’s actually like - the messy, hard, beautiful parts that nobody warns you about.
No BS. No toxic positivity. No spiritual bypassing. Just honest conversations about recovery, relationships, and healing.
I’ll be writing 1-2 times per week. Some posts will be about sobriety and what long-term recovery really looks like. Some will be about betrayal, trust, and rebuilding. Some will be about the intersection of both - how recovery principles apply (and don’t apply) to relationship trauma.
Expect vulnerability. Expect practical guidance. Expect me to say the things other people won’t.
